The Zyne babouche brings Moroccan tradition into the 21st century – by imbuing this classic slipper with the spirit of wanderlust, glamour, and a twist of modernity. Crossing all limitations of urban borders and seasons, the Zyne babouche is designed to be worn everywhere, at any time. Each slipper is handmade by a cooperative dedicated to supporting local women in the community allowing every purchase of yours to brighten up the life of another woman.

We wanted to showcase the amazing craftsmanship that is part of our Moroccan DNA and so we started researching old embroidery techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation and ways in which we could showcase them through our product...”
With every purchase, you’re helping underprivileged Moroccan women thrive, grow, and prosper. Zyne empowers these women by providing them with employment and valuable skills such as beading and embroidery. What started as a small group of 5 women has now blossomed into a team of 50 artisans.

ZYNE is a 100% conceived, designed, and produced Moroccan brand. Our products are handmade and therefore are perfectly imperfect. Materials are consciously chosen by the team, they are eco-friendly and dyed using vegetable scraps and spices. Every pair is hand-made by a cooperative in Morocco dedicated to supporting local women from underserved communities to build a sense of confidence and self worth through work.
