Featuring a deep and elegant neckline, our dresses are made for each and every woman, exuding femininity. In addition are accentuated sleeves with ribbons adorned with beaded tassels, this dress has a flowy silhouette and can be worn loose or tightened with its belt. Using natural dyes and locally sourced materials, the Chandana dress embodies the rich and unique stories of hand-weaving from India. The traditional Ikat (pronounced ‘ee-khat’) weave technique has been passed down from generation to generation, creating a dress that is individual to its owner and calls to be cherished.

The artisans, led by Chandana, daughter of an acclaimed award-winning master weaver, uphold the legacy of her father with unwavering dedication.

Drawing inspiration from their roots, the master weavers meticulously craft intricate designs, translating them from graphs into mesmerizing patterns. Through traditional ikat weaving methods passed down through generations, they breathe new life into age-old techniques, infusing them with originality and contemporary aesthetics.

Zazi items are handmade with carefully selected natural materials without the use of synthetic chemicals. To cherish your handcrafted Zazi dress for a longer time, please handle it with care. 

  • This handwoven mulberry silk fabric feels smooth and silky on the skin and is a delicate fabric- so we kindly remind you to handle it with care. 
  • Due to the hand-dyed nature of the fabric, there might be small color variations making each piece one of a kind. 
  • Protect from heavy rain or heat. Should it become wet, we advise to air dry. 
  • Washing by hand and cold is advised to maintain the quality of thread and colour. 
  • Due to the nature of the fabric, which is vintage material that has lived through so many beautiful stories, we would like you to keep in mind that our coats may have small marks and imperfections which tell stories of the past.
  • Avoid sharp items that may damage the fabric of the ZAZI coat.
  • Protect from heavy rain or heat. Should it become wet, we advise to directly dry it with a soft cloth.
  • Dry-cleaning only.
